Fruity Impressions

For this printing project, cut some fruits and vegetables into halves or quarters or circles. Then, show your child how to dip them carefully in tempera paint or on an ink stamp pad, and then press onto paper. Notice the star design created by the seeds in the center of an apple and shamrock design of a cross-section of bell pepper.
