Flour + Water + Salt = Play-Doh Fun
Mix a cup of regular flour with a half-cup of salt in a bowl, and knead it together with just enough water to make a simple dough (about a half-cup). Your child can pinch it, poke holes with her fingers, or flatten it. Increase the creative possibilities by giving her tools like a plastic spoon or cups to press into the dough and make impressions.
