Flashlight Color Slides

For a fun way to talk about how colors mix to create new ones, get some colored, translucent cellophane paper. Cut into squares and, using a flashlight your child holds, put the colored squares in front of the beam of light, projecting it against a white wall. See what happens when you combine green, red, and blue, or red and yellow.
