Finger-Paint Placemats

Finger-painting is an ideal art activity for the under-two set: it’s tactile, messy, and doesn’t require brushes. Turn finger-paint art projects into a gift for grandparents or caregivers by having your child paint freeform smears or fingerprints on a placemat-sized piece of oak tag or poster board. When dry, cover with clear contact paper.
