Field Trip Fun

Keep trips short and schedule them for your child’s “best” time of day (such as immediately after a nap and lunch). Follow her lead. If you’re at the zoo and she’s very happy making faces at monkeys or watching a bear do back flips in the water, resist the urge to move her along. Who cares if you spend the whole trip just talking about polar bears?
