Expand Your Dance Horizons

Introduce your preschooler to different styles of world music, such as African, Asian, Caribbean, Latin, and so on. The different rhythms will be intriguing, broadening her horizons — and inspiring her to dance! Encourage her to create her own movements to fit the music. Give her props, like bongo drums to beat or scarves to wave around.
