An Exercise in Writing Instructions

Ask your child to teach you how to do something specific, like playing a game on her favorite social media site. Give her the task of writing the instructions down, so that they're clear and can easily be followed. Then, follow her step-by-step instructions to see if they work! Provide feedback, too, about any questions you have or aspects of her instructions that were unclear.
