Dramatic Endeavors

Kids love to pretend they are something or someone else; that’s clear. What you may not know is that dramatic play helps kids express emotions and hone social and language skills. If you want to set up a dramatic-play area, don’t feel you need to buy pre-packaged kits and outfits. A good dramatic play center might include: old clothes, fabric remnants, old sheets, scarves, hats, caps, visors, backpacks, purses, jewelry, glasses, shoes, toy food, empty food boxes, pots and pans, utensils, play food, and puppets.
