Help incorporate your child’s love for music into his reading assignments. Let your child determine the novel's theme or the author's opinion that's threaded throughout the story. Once you and your child figure out one of the themes, help him find musical lyrics that fit. Let him create a reading playlist to help cement these themes into his memory.
