Create Mini Reading Goals With Your Toddler This New Year

Though your toddler is not reading on her own yet, set reading goals for 2018. Consider making goals that take reading with your toddler one step further than last year. Did you read a little bit with your baby every day last year? If not, make that a new goal for this year. If you have been reading with your toddler every day, make it a goal to increase your reading time each day. Instead of reading for 15 minutes each day, aim for 30 minutes. Anything you can do to get more book fit with your toddler before she is reading on her own makes for a great New Year's reading resolution — plus it will help create positive reading habits for your child!
