Conversation Skills Increase

You’ll notice, typically around age three, that your child is getting better at both initiating and navigating conversations. She may begin a chat herself, often with questions like “Guess what?” or “You know what?” She is getting better at not interrupting, though it’s still quite hard for her to take her turn. And don’t expect too much from phone conversations, which often aren’t in the “here and now,” which she’s more comfortable with.
