Controlled Variables Can Make or Break That Experiment

For the big science fair, your daughter wants to find out which foods flies like most. She sets up flytraps near honey, steak, and an apple which she has left in various spots outside. However, she failed to control the environment by placing all the foods in identical spots. She must control everything she can to ensure a reliable outcome. Don't forget this important step--science projects can take a great deal of time and engergy, and losing the investment to such an error can be extremely frustrating!
