It can be hard to get a preschooler to understand why toys or craft supplies need to be put away. Help her see, literally, what happens to paint or clay when it’s left out overnight. Don’t do this with any item she loves, but you can leave out a lump of clay uncovered, and one neatly stowed. Check together the next day and see what happened!
