Compare and Contrast Obscure Music With Favorites
When a song comes on the radio your kid finds awful, ask him to compare each musical facet to that of his favorite song. How are the instruments different? What about the rhythm? Does the melody start slow or fast? Using music to develop critical thinking skills is not only smart, it's way better than mindlessly listening to bad tunes!
