Compare and Contrast Animals at the Zoo

Draw two large circles on a piece of paper, so that they overlap slightly. This is called a Venn Diagram. The outer circles are for recording things that are different when you compare them, and the overlapping section in the middle is for recording the characteristics that are similar. Bring the Venn Diagram to the zoo and teach your child how to use it to record observations about two different types of animals.
