Chores for the School-Aged Child
Make your life easier and teach your kids a thing or two by creating a “clean-up crew.” Chores teach kids a positive work ethic and make them appreciate you more. Have a family meeting with a chores list. See which jobs your kids are most interested in and assign them. Encourage effort, not perfection, and reward their successes with praise.
