Choose a Study Partner Who Participates

Kids usually pick their friends as study buddies. Partnering with a pal is okay if the friend’s a good student; if not, the choice leads to a bad grade. A better option is a student who participates in class. Kids who raise their hand a lot are invested in class. More than likely, they work diligently and that work ethic rubs off on your kid.
