A Card Made From the Heart

The next time your child is heading to a party, or needs to send thank-you notes, pull out the crafts bin. Creating handmade cards demonstrates a personal touch. Ask your child what makes the receiver special. For example, “Grandma always gives me big hugs,” or “Jennie is my favorite playground buddy” and suggest she convey that idea when creating her card.
