A Brainstorming Jam Session
Help your child’s next brainstorming session by breaking out a whiteboard or chalkboard. Have your child write the essay topic and yell out ideas that would support or conflict with the topic. Help generate a list of 50 ideas. When your child sits down to write, it'll be easy to develop opinions, because she already thought through many angles.
