The Art of Gardening

For this art project, you’ll need a foam board, paint, and acrylic spray. Help your child sketch a picture of a plant from your garden on the foam and cut along the outline. After painting and decorating the foam plant, let it dry and then spray with acrylic to protect it. Glue it to a stick and place it in the garden next to its companion plant. Watch as the real thing grows to resemble your child’s foam rendering.
