Anger: An Internal Study Distractor
If kids are angry and a test is looming, that pent-up annoyance can derail the study train. They can brood on the topic instead of their homework. Help your own kids let go of their anger by chatting with them about it. If that's not an option, ask them to write down what's bothering them in five sentences.
