Add Organic Textures to Your Child's Artwork

Ready to help your child express her artistic talent in a new and different way? Go outside and collect a handful of leaves, grasses, and other organic materials. Then, show your child how to use them in her artwork. For example, she might use them as paintbrushes, or place them on the paper and paint over them. Ask her to think of other organic materials she can use, such as scraps of cotton or even dirt. Encourage her to think outside the box and use her own creativity to envision the unimagined.
