Thumbelina Walnut Dolls
These pint-sized figurines add a giant dose of fantasy to imaginary play.

• 1 walnut, halved
• 4" pipe cleaner
• ½" diameter wooden bead
• Yarn
• Scrap fabric
• Green paint
• 2 googly eyes
• Green felt

1. Make a loop with pipe cleaner and twist end. Thread the bead onto the twisted end and glue.
2. Cut a few small strands of yarn for hair and glue them onto the bead. Draw on eyes and a mouth with a marker.
3. Tuck the pipe cleaner in the walnut. Cut a piece of fabric for a blanket, tuck in ends.

1. Paint half a walnut green.
2. Glue on googly eyes. Cut out legs and arms from the felt, glue on the underside.
