Third-graders Liza, Melody, Howie, and Eddie receive free snowboarding lessons at the Golden Egg Ski Resort. When they meet Jack, the resort owner, and Hugh Mongus, a very tall snowboarding instructor, the students wonder why everything seems so familiar.
Hugh Mongus is the tallest person the kids have ever seen. Liza suspects that he's the giant from "Jack and the Beanstalk," but she needs some real proof.
