About the Author and Illustrator

Joseph Bruchac Joseph Bruchac learned a lot from his grandmother, grandfather, and the local farmers and lumberjacks who gathered in his family's store, but it wasn't until he went to college that he heard Native American stories.
Teresa Flavin Artist Teresa Flavin currently lives in Glasgow. Between trips to India, she clambers about the Scottish highlands with her geographer husband.
