Berenstain Bears and the Prize Pumpkin, The

Berenstain Bears and the Prize Pumpkin, The

by Stan Berenstain, Jan Berenstain

It's time for the annual Bear Country Thanksgiving Festival, and the Bears have entered the pumpkin contest with a vengeance. Papa Bear and the cubs temporarily forget the true meaning of Thanksgiving as they become caught up in trying to win the Big Pumpkin Contest. Mama's persistence in keeping her family mindful of their blessings eventually pays off.

They may or may not win a blue ribbon, but they certainly do gain a new first-rate appreciation of the true spirit of the holiday and all they have to be thankful for.
