Syeira is an orphaned girl who lives and works among the horses in the king's stables. She has a special connection to the grand animals — especially to Arwin, a wild, beautiful, and willful mare. When Arwin's two colts are cruelly snatched from her by the evil Lord Ran, Syeira and Arwin set off on a dangerous quest to find the horse's stolen colts.
