A Presidential Word Search Printable

Just in time for Presidents' Day, this word search serves as a vocabulary-builder and conversation-starter about the American presidency.
on February 15, 2018

The United States of America has had forty-five presidents lead the country. Each Presidents’ Day we recognize two of the most famous presidents: George Washington and Abraham Lincoln. In this Presidents' Day word search printable, have your child find their names, as well as other phrases associated with the American presidency.

Your child should look horizontally, vertically, and diagonally for the words and phrases, then circle them in the puzzle. To take the learning further, talk about each vocabulary term found in the word search. Your child can also look up any words or phrases that are unfamiliar with and even draw a picture to illustrate the meaning.
