When does the nomination period begin and end?
It is scheduled to begin on January 13, 2009, and end on February 13, 2009.
How does nominating work?
Visitors to Scholastic.com/parents nominate the mommy blogs.
Can a mommy blogger nominate her own blog?
Yes.
Can a blog be nominated more than once?
Yes, but it will not increase its chances of winning the contest.
Can I nominate more than three blogs?
You may nominate as many blogs as you like. If you like just one, that's fine. If you like more than three, just return to the nomination page and add another nominee.
What happens if a nominated blog URL doesn't work?
It may be disqualified by Scholastic Parent & Child.
How will the finalists for voting be chosen?
Scholastic Parent & Child will act as judge and narrow down a list of finalists from the nominees. We reserve the right to exclude any blog that we deem inappropriate for the contest.
Why are you asking for my email address?
So that we may contact you if we like your comment and want to request your permission to use it in the feature story about the winning bloggers.
How else will you use my comments?
By submitting comments when nominating the Mommy blogs, you grant Scholastic the right to use those comments for the purposes of online advertising and/or promotion in connection with this contest.

How does voting work?
Visitors to Scholastic.com/parents will vote once for a finalist of their choice. The five blogs receiving the most votes will be declared winners of the contest. Multiple votes from the same individual and/or votes made by automatic, mechanical or similar duplication methods will not be counted.
Can a mommy blogger vote for her own blog?
Yes. Just once.
When will the winners be announced?
The five winners will be announced on the Scholastic.com/parents Web site prior to appearing in the June/July 2009 issue of Scholastic Parent & Child magazine.
