NEW YORK (October
19, 1999) Scholastic Inc. (NASDAQ: SCHL), the global children's

latest in its line of award-winning I SPY CD-ROMs that includes
the original I SPY (1997) and the recently released I
Spy Spooky Mansion (August 1999). Designed for kids ages three
to five, I SPY Junior features more than 70 charming picture
riddles, fun puzzles, and multi-leveled games that strengthen age-appropriate
critical thinking skills.
"With I
Spy Junior, Scholastic extends the unique I SPY experience
to preschoolers," said Ruth Otte, Executive Vice President,
Scholastic Inc. "Young children will love
I SPY Junior
for the bright and cheerful images and engaging riddles and games,
while parents and teachers will appreciate the developmentally appropriate

even flex their creative muscles and design their own masterpiece
in the Make Your Own I SPY area.
