Q: If Scholastic does not control translation rights to a title, who should I contact for more information?
A: Refer to the attached document, which contains a list of the most frequently requested titles and the corresponding agent contact information. Contact the agent for further information.

Q: I am a translator, and I’d like to translate ___ into _______. Please let me know how to proceed.
A: We license translation rights to International publishers, and they are responsible for hiring a translator. Sorry, but we do not license to individuals, only accredited publishing houses.

Q: How can I tell if rights are available for a title or series?
A: Search for a title on our website, and click on that title for further information. A list of rights sold will appear on the right hand side. If the first books of a series are already sold in your territory, future titles in that series are under option to that publisher.
