Caring classroom donates books to flood-damaged school
A generous classroom from Martinsville, Ind., saved the day last Spring for a local school damaged by floods earlier in the school year. The group from Waverly Elementary School refilled the schools bookshelves with 500 books it won in a sweepstakes open to classrooms participating in Scholastic Book Clubs' ClassroomsCare program.
A great example of a classroom spreading its love of reading, and making a difference for kids in need. Way to go, Waverly!
