It's so easy to get things, to take from the people
around us, without stopping to give something back. It's
not even always a bad thing, mateys, to accept the kindness
and generosity of others, so don't feel bad. But, it is
also never a bad thing to make an effort to give of ourselves.
What can we share with others? Our time and attention,
our efforts to be a good friend? Our skills, our creativity,
our ability, perhaps to make things? A favorite book or
game? Today's chaw assignment is simple: give of yourself,
then come back and tell me about it. I'm sure you'll be
happy with the results!

I cheered up a friend with a few jokes and a few funny
stories. She tried not to laugh but at the end she laughed
out loud. These days, my friends called me king of the
funny.

You where right! This humor laughter thing actually works!
My friend
Nicole was mad at me because I stopped playing with her.
She got really mad at me. I couldn't even reach her by
calling! Then I read what you said. I doubted it would
work, but I tried it anyway. I told my friend a funny
poem, and before I knew it, we where friends again! You
couldn't even tell we had a disagreement.

My mom and I were coming to my grandma's when she said
"there was a hawk back there" but I didn't hear
her correctly and I said, "the Hulk, were?"
and it made her laugh.
