The Great Ga'Hoolian Challenge

There are so many things you can do to help someone else. Let's see what some members of your chaw have done to help out.

A.C. Age 12
Hi I'm A.C. and I found out that if I do things without being told I can
have more time to myself and same with my parents!

Jessica T. Age 12, Georgia
I help my friends and sister when they need it.

Sara M. Age 10
I would help my friends and family a lot. I would help my family with the
dishes, the laundry, and other stuff around the house. I would help my
friends with their problems, with their homework, and when they get hurt.

Chrissy H. Age 12
Helping out is this answer.

Jeremy B. Age 10, Pennsylvania
I helped my best friend Chris at school when he was having trouble on his
math paper . And all the other kids were just doing their own thing. Like
drawing, reading , etc. Anyway I came up to him and said "Hey do you need
some help"and he responded "Yes". At first I thought he just motioned away but he was flicking some pencil shavings of his paper so I could help. He was so grateful that I helped him and he said "Thanks". I said "No need to thank me I just love to help."

Erika L. Age 16, Florida
My best friend is failing her Algebra II honors class, and I have taken it
upon myself to be her tutor. We have been working together for the past 3
weeks, and she just earned an "A" on her last test. It's quite pleasing
helping others.

Zach D. Age 11, Kansas
I helped my cousin with his home work

Vanessa M. Age 14, Texas
I helped my brother with his homework and washed the dishes for my mom.

Michael L. Age 9, New Jersey
Walk other people's dogs.

Hortense Age 12, Georgia
On the first day of school I helped other kids that needed help on school
work.

A.B. Age 13, North Carolina
I always help around the house. I like doing the dishes and taking care of the
animals!

Lynne F. Age 11, Virgina
I have 3 siblings all younger, 2 girls, 1 boy. I quiz my sister Andrea, 7
on her spelling words. I also get to grade them! For my other sister
Sarah, 9 I help alot with her Social Studies homework which includes
vocab, reading, and study sheets. For my brother Mark, 3 I read to him and
play with him in our yard. I also baby-sit for him.

Caitlyn A. Age 11, Georgia
Today I helped my little sis to learn to ride a bike

Ariel H. Age 10, Massachusetts
I helped my friend learn about the deepsea. She used to think deepsea
animals were scary and now she thinks they're beautiful. She even knows
the names of all deepsea animals except the ones people know very little
about.

Rachel L. Age 9
I stayed in at recess to help Fred clean up his desk.

Grace W. Age 10, Kentucky
I am helping my aunt with my sisters and my dog while my parents are away.

Rachel S. Age 13, South Dakota
I didn't get much time to complete this assignment, but so far I have made
a cake for my family, cleaned my house, taken care of our pets, and done
all of my chores. That is not very common with me.
