The Great Ga'Hoolian Challenge

Ah, Mateys, I too, fall victim to laziness at times. I know, it's surprising, but it happens. You start something, but you just don't get around to finishing it. Or you never start at all. But no more, mates! It's time we start to take ACTION! Finish that big paper for school, or clean out your closet. Try out for the baseball team, or build a treehouse. It doesn't matter — just get to work on that thing you keep "meaning to do," and let me know how it goes. I suspect the results will amaze you!

Well, I had to do this project for school, so I made the clay, but then waited about two weeks to get to it. Finally I got it and tried it, but it didn't turn out so well, so I got some hard store bought clay. I was finally ready to work, when I found out that the clay was TOO hard!! I tried cutting it with thread, fishing wire, and even a plastic knife. Finally, I got a regular knife and used that. My project was finished and I turned it in. Too bad, though, I ended up getting a 450 out of 500, but I averaged it and found out that I got about an A-.

Jessica B. Age 7

I was SO nervous for my big belt challenge. So I practiced, and practiced, and now I'm a yellow belt! Hooray! It took a lot of sacrifice, too. When I was watching TV, I had to get up, and practice. Thank you, Ezylyrb for the advice!
