October 15, 1932

Today my brother and I are going through a tough time because the Great Depression and the dust storm were hitting us at both sides. Our house burned down and we went here to the West for a job. But the market crashed and our famliy died, so now what? We eat off of peoples scraps and we have to get worn out clothes for blankets. Will this ever end?
