It's during the Great Depression and we have no money. Last night, my baby brother John has died from diptheria and measels because we had no money for medicine. I just lost my brother and I have my two big brothers and my three big sisters. I'm the youngest in the Hoftezer family. But, I'm also short for my age. It looks like I'm 8 years old. But I'm not. I'm 12 not 8.
