Beary Recovery ,1907

By: Gina L
New York, Grade: 5

I peeked out of the window early in the morn'. It was 6:00, and the sun had halfely rised for a brand new day! There was a noise.,a rustling noise.A bear showed her face she looked sad , but not harmful. I went outside and the bear came closer. It came even closer not, even trying to look away.It suddenly put it's paw on my cold hand. It's warm flesh warmed my body and led me into the open field. I was wondering why it didn't hurt me but I knew it was freindly. She led me to her baby cub. It looked like it needed help. I ran inside to get some warm water and butter. I ran back outside to them. I took the butter and rubbed it on her four paws. Then, I washed it in warm water. The baby cub suddenly started to get up and walk around again! The mama bear thanked me with a big bear hug. I ran back inside and would always remember that specail bear and her cub.
