Dear journal,
The stock market crashed yesterday. Many people, along with Mom and Dad, lost their jobs. We have nowhere to go. My Mom is getting sick from the black dust everywhere. My Dad is trying the best he can, but I might have to take charge if Mom gets any worse. My little brother is hysterical now and my Dad is going through the realization that Mom might die. I have to be brave, but right now I don't know what brave is.
