Dear Journal,
Today was just like any other, I got up to the sound of mother and father arguing. Mother was yelling of the financial problems we were having. Father was countering on how he had no control over it and that he felt just as worried as she. But mother of course didn't listen. While taking care of the normal chores, I found that three of the eight hens had become dehydrated and unfortunatly had died and a cow had been hunted down by a wolf. The wolf had been to many of our neighbors' houses and had eaten way more than what he had at our farm, we were lucky. Then we had our dinner, (very small of course.) After dinner the whole family picked up where we left off the day before knitting new clothes and blankets. Then we finally settled down to bed.
