Its just terrible! There is hardly any food to go around. Mama has passed away from hunger and papa is working full time out in the fields, 13 hours a day. I am the leader im 13 and I ave to stay ome to help papa. I must watch my 2 sisters and 3 brothers. Bry my 13 year old twin brother is helping me but he mainly helps papa. Everyone depends on me now. I will have to help papa some how. I will practice my knitting. I'll set up a stall and people can come and have sweaters made. I'll sell them for 2% more than the wool I use. Even if it doesn't help to much It will at ;east put some food on the table for us besides its getting cold out and people will need sweaters. My sister Jamie is sitting here watching me write she looks very tired and very hungry. None of have slept since mama passed away and we are all very hungry with the shortage of food. Here comes papa hes wondering what Im doing wasting candles.
