Papa came home from work today at the big wheat Farm up the road. during supper he says ta mommy and me ''I ain't got no job no more, many men got layed of ta day''
daddy says we gonna have to try an' sell are farm and then packup and got to go to washinton and look for work. Momma says she dunno if she can make ta trip ever scince she got influenza she been awfully sick, papa is a calling my so I better go but papa is now calling our farm and big old worthless dust bowl, I ask papa what dust bowl means.
