The Great Depression was a hard time for everybody. Times were rough, food was scarce and everybody was scared. Everybody finally realized that during the depression, it was time for enemies to become friends, neighbors to become family and that the problem wasn't going to be solved by fighting. Everybody had to work together to comfort one another during those hard times.
