Dear Diary,
It's funny how I can call a piece of paper dear. Anyway,
I am a little bit hungry tonight, dinner was potatoes au'gratin. It's not that I don't like it, its just that's all we've had for dinner this week- and its Friday. I wish I had something to do on a Friday night. Maybe we could go to a movie show. I'll ask mom, though she seems depressed. Everyone seems doressed that's why its called The Great Depression. I wish everythng was the way it used to be, we had money, food , and we didn't have to always remind ourselves that everything is too expensive. For example, Today on the way home from school while I was passing the shops I saw the most ADORABLE shoes. But they we're $3!
I know it will be o.k., but when?
