Today, I woke up really early to help tidy up my little cottage today. The Great Depression has changed my life so much. I use to live in a beautiful home. Now, my family are jobless, I can not go to school, and we now live in a small cottage in the shantytown. I really missed the much fun that I use to have. I think I need to help alot more for my family. I think I am just useless. I suggest myself from now on to help my parents work or find a way to get our true life back. Today, I am cleaning up around my cottage and I was planning to go over to my old neighbor's cottage to help out too. I don't know why I have to be like this. I hope everyone will be in a better shape in the future like for me and family.
