The Great Depression. Many people lost their jobs. They also lost their homes. Many homeless blamed their economics on Peresident Herbert Hoover. People had to move to a place called Shantytown. People built their homes with anything they found, such as crates and tin cans.Americans across the country struggled to get by, and all made to do with less. Alot of people were starving. Nobody had any thing.
