It is terribly cold here in Tennessee this winter. Mother made hot chocolate earlier but it wasn't that hot. Now us kids are sitting by the fire in the fireplace that is about to go out. We haven't had much money since father lost his job. My brother Richard has come down with a deadly case of the flu and the doctor dosn't think he will live any longer and sometimes I wish I wasn't even alive...
