Hola!
We have just arrived in California from Monterray, Mexico. Abuelita took me to the stationary store and got me this notebook, it's small and has brown cloth on it, we're only staying here for a little while to rest before going the rest of the way to Corpus Christie, Texas. Papa says that there are too many people living in California already and only a few small clusters of houses are in Corpus Christie. Papa says we'll have a big rancho when we get there and Mama and Auntie will teach me, Isabella, Alejandro, Maria, Gabriela, Abraham, Hector Jr., Suzette, Selena, and Taina at home while Papa and Uncle Hector work, we'll help when we can but Papa says that you have to have an education to survive in America. I have to go, Abuelita is calling me to help with dinner.
