Today I delivered part of our Thanksgiving turkey to the soup kitchen. There were ragged people all around the kitchen. I saw a girl, my own age, wrapped in a tattered blanket tied around her waist with rope. Despite the cold, I pulled off my bright red jacket and layed it on her shoulders. Her whole face lit up, and I felt like Cinderella's fairy godmother.
Giving feels good.
