July 5, 1992
Today my father has lost his job at the stock market. It crashed yesterday. Billions of dollats of stock was lost. I never felt this hopeless in my life. I feel as if the whole world has crashed right down on top of me. I'm glad I have you as a friend, Journal.

Now everyone thinks I am a poor child! But I guess they might be right. Oh, Journal school was horrible today.

I have just heard very terrible news! My father doesn't have enough money to keep me in school! I knew that something like this was going to happen!

Chores, chores, and more chores. Now that I'm out of school I have to do so many chores! I never knew that this would have so much effect on my life. Uhh, more chores.

My sister just died from a mad person out on the street! Now i know that my life has no place in this worldI might as well go to sleep and never wake up...
